John J. Zappitelli, Founder
John Zappitelli is a Certified Public Accountant practicing in Hilliard, Ohio since 1990.
Born and raised in Conneaut, Ohio on Lake Erie. Moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1989. Independent business owner of Zappitelli CPAs Inc. for over 35 years in the accounting industry specializing in complete tax and financial planning services. Currently sits on the Advisory Board for State Bank. Formed Zappitelli Properties, Inc. in 1990, specializing in management and investment in commercial and residential real estate.
Formed Old Hilliard Coin and Fine Art, LLC in 2009, licensed precious metals dealers, specializing in numismatic, gems stones and diamonds and fine art investments. Married for over 39 years to Karen Zappitelli, who assists with all business ventures. All three children have participated in the accounting practice and Old Hilliard Coin and Fine Art.

I have been the Director of Zappitelli CPAs since the inception of our practice in 1985.
I handle client communications, scheduling, IRS matters, and payroll processing. It has been my pleasure to work side by side with my husband John for many years and enjoy dealing with our clients. I also direct our second business, Old Hilliard Coin and Fine Art. We opened our gallery in 2009 and our focus is to assist customers to build collections that will in turn build wealth.
